Monday Quote…Slightly Late

“And by the way, everything in life is writable about if you have the outgoing guts to do it, and the imagination to improvise. The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt.”
Sylvia Plath

Though I don’t have a solid blogging schedule quite yet, one thing I know I want to do is begin each week with a quote from a writer.

Why?

Three reasons:

1) I know very few quotes from writers. Whenever another writer, or a peer in a class, pulls out a quote, I’m always a little disappointed in myself. Monday quotes, *I hope*, will help to remedy this.

2) Despite not knowing many quotes, I’ve always been a fan of their uses. Sometimes, I think the best way to explain an idea, or show something important is to use the words of someone else.

3) They’re a lot easier for me to post at the beginning of the week. Sorry if that makes you followers feel that I don’t care, but there it is. It’s just flat easier on a Monday.
